Spiritual Direction

Spiritual direction had a huge impact on my faith and has been life giving and transformative. It has helped me as my image of God has changed, made room for me to sit with mystery, doubt and pain.

Spiritual direction is about slowing down enough to notice God’s presence in your daily life. It’s not about fixing or forcing—it’s about listening, paying attention, and discovering.

It is a space to reflect on your experiences, desires, doubts, and joys — to see where God is calling you and how your life and choices align with that.

Who is Spiritual Direction for?

Spiritual direction is for anyone—whether you have faith language or not—who wants to explore spirituality, seek clarity, or hold space for what is unfolding within them.

Spiritual direction can be helpful for anyone seeking to explore their relationship with God, themselves, and the world around them. To give you a sense of whether it might be right for you, ask yourself:

  • Do I want to intentionally explore my relationship with God and notice where God might be calling me?

  • Am I seeking a deeper, more authentic connection with God?

  • Do I feel stuck, or like I’m in a holding pattern in my spiritual or personal life?

  • Do I sense that I’m unable to step into a new space or season?

  • Are my usual ways of connecting with God no longer fulfilling?

  • Would I value a safe, intentional space to bring my joys, struggles, and questions — and attend to the movement of God within them?

If any of these resonate, spiritual direction may be a helpful and life-giving space for you.

Who I Am & What Has Shaped Me

I trained as a Spiritual Director while leading a charismatic-contemplative church in the city, rooted in deep faith, missional presence, and community. In discovering the contemplative traditions, my faith and my love for God — and myself — came alive. Spiritual direction has reshaped my image of God, given me permission to sit with mystery, doubt, and pain, and invited me into a more spacious way of being.

I’ve found joy in making space for people at every stage of the journey: those who’ve been following Jesus for decades, those just beginning, and those who aren’t sure they’d even call what they’re seeking “faith.”

I bring with me interests in embodiment, creativity, Ignatian practices, the Enneagram, and lived experience as a queer, neurodivergent woman and the first single woman to plant a church in my denomination. These all shape my understanding of leadership, belonging, and how God meets us in the realness of life.

How I Walk Alongside You

In direction, we explore together your experience of God, yourself, your relationships, and your longings. My role is not to provide answers, but to listen deeply with you, notice what arises, and support you in responding to God’s movement in your life.

As Thomas Merton once wrote, the spiritual director is not “a magical machine for solving cases and declaring the holy will of God...but a trusted friend...who helps and strengthens us in our groping efforts to correspond with the grace of the Holy Spirit.”

I often invite creativity, prayer practices, and embodied awareness into sessions — trusting that God speaks through our whole selves. Together, we make space to listen, to be present, and to discern how you might live and lead more authentically, beyond the noise of expectations and “shoulds.”

Your Role

Bring your experience, questions, and curiosity. Spiritual direction is not about being “fixed” or “correct”; it’s about being seen, heard, and guided in noticing what God or your inner life is inviting you toward.
